House Bill Number 54 Incorporated Uniform Chancery Rule 9.01's fee schedule with the following fees for the Chancery Court, effective July 1, 1993. This will represent the total fee due the Clerk in each case. there will be no "Cost Bill" at the end of a case, likewise, there will be no refunds for overpayment. The total amount must be paid prior to filing and fees are as follows:

*If applicable, Senate Bill 2230 increased the fee for Services of Process by the Sheriff's Department to $35.00 plus $1.00 for each additional service to the same address. Process costs are borne by the issuing party. Payment will be made at time of filing by a separate check and to be issued to the Sheriff of the respective County. Any process by Publication must be submitted to the newspaper by the issuing party, with costs to be borne by same.
